FLYR Labs started off the summer at full speed by sponsoring and attending premier airline industry conferences around the world in June.
Crew members attended Future Travel Experience (FTE) EMEA | Ancillary in Dublin, Aviation Festival Americas in Miami, and Aviation Festival Asia in Singapore showcasing how The Revenue Operating System® can help airlines achieve total revenue optimization.
In Miami, Vice President of Growth Matt Brown spoke about consolidating technology to drive better revenue decisions, while Product Marketing Lead Angelo Contreras discussed how technology and better data can help airlines make smarter marketing decisions.
The theme at Aviation Festival Americas in Miami was “New Technologies, New Strategies, New Beginnings,” and we held conversations with airline executives and commercial teams on how they’re adapting to the evolving economy and rethinking the future of work. Customer experience remained top of mind as airlines begin to accelerate digital transformation through new, innovative, and extensible customer and business engagement models.

The FLYR team also demonstrated how The Revenue Operating System® leverages artificial intelligence and deep learning to unlock value across airline commercial functions.
Meanwhile, in Dublin, members of the FLYR crew attended FTE, which focused on scaling innovation. Head of New Product Optimization Niels Colemont and Head of Product, Integration, and Science Dennis Michon joined a panel to discuss how airlines can take ancillary and loyalty strategies to the next level as COVID-19 moves from a pandemic to endemic. Niels later held a special presentation about using existing data to improve the revenue of each flight.

Niels continued to conference circuit the next week in Singapore, where he discussed using dynamic pricing to optimize ancillary offers at Aviation Festival Asia. On Day 2 of that event, FLYR founder and CEO Alex Mans hosted a keynote presentation on taking a partnership approach to getting airlines to adopt artificial intelligence. Taking the topic further that afternoon, Head of Machine Learning & AI Strategy, Kartik Yellepeddi, and Product Marketing Lead Angelo Contreras led a roundtable discussion on AI-driven revenue optimization.

Throughout the conference, the FLYR crew had multiple conversations about how AI-driven automation and optimization can help navigate the influx of new data and deliver better business outcomes faster, using intelligence embedded from design to deployment. Additionally, FLYR met with industry thought leaders from around Asia to discuss topics like sustainability, real-time data, and cargo challenges, as well as industry consulting opportunities that may exist.
It was great to see industry leaders and influencers in person once again, and we look forward to seeing more of everyone at this fall’s conferences.
