Flyr does not allow the transport of any prohibited dog breeds in the cabin or in the hold.
A number of snubnosed cats and dogs has an anatomy that may cause respiratory problems, overheating and other health issues during the flight.
If your pet is snubnosed, we recommend you to provide extra care to your cat or dog.
In accordance with IATA (International Air Transport Association), we recommend that the cage/bag used for snubnosed pets is 10 % larger than normal to make room for extra ventilation. We want to be certain that both your pet and you experience a comfortable flight and we recommend that you talk to your local vet to ensure that your pet is fit for flight.
Are you uncertain if your pet is a snubnosed cat/dog (brachyoephalean breed), we kindly ask you to consult your vet before booking your flight ticket.
Flyr has no prerequisite about knowledge of different cat and dog breeds, and cannot decide whether your pet is suitable for flying.
Please note that the owner or person bringing the pet must fill out a form that must be handed over at check-in where the risk associated with the flight for the pet is accepted.
