    Bienvenue à Nice

Nice is a favorite destination among Europeans on the French riviera. People from all over the continent has found their favorite hotel or holiday rental and keep coming back year after year.

Nice town is a vibrant an lively place, especially in summer. The city center is compact and is perfect for pedestrians. Find yourself a cosy café, enjoy an espresso and a croissant and enjoy people-watching. The closer to Promenade de Anglais you are, the more people you can watch.

    Negresco Hotel

The world-famous Negresco Hotel is right on the promenade. The hotel, which opened its doors in 1913, has welcomed such celebrities as Salvador Dali, the Sultan of Brunei, Elton John and Bill Gates. It is said that the previous owner, the flamboyant Madam Jean Augier, told Bill Gates that he could never buy her hotel because he simply did not have enough money.

In other words, Hotel Negresco is not a place you just drop by with your backpack for a reasonable night on a single bed.

If you travel east from Nice, it is only about 20 kilometers along the coast to an even more fashionable area. Here you’ll find the Principality of Monaco, known for car racing, mega yachts, hidden fortunes, and staggering housing prices. The casinos in Monaco have also starred in countless movies; perhaps most known for the 1995 James Bond film GoldenEye. You remember the scene - Agent 007, played by Pierce Brosnan, meets Agent Xenia Onatopp inside Casino Monte Carlo.

If you travel just a bit further east from Monaco, the road takes you to Italy and San Remo.

    West of Nice

West of Nice, the well-known beach towns are close together. Many Norwegians adore Cannes, Antibes, Saint Maxime, and Saint Tropez. Choose from large or boutique hotels as you enjoy the beach life that people travel near and far to enjoy.

If you wander from the coast and the main roads, you will quickly find charming small towns, villes, with beautiful stone houses, narrow streets, small checkered-table cloth cafes, and local clothing, perfume, wine, and specialty food shops. We highly recommend the town Bormes les Mimosa, a gem located approx. a two-hour drive from Nice airport.

    Flyr to Nice

Flyr lands at Nice airport, Terminal 2. The airport is just a few kilometers from the center of Nice, which is easy to get to. You can take either the bus, train, or taxi.
