Dubrovnik's Old Town
Behind the old city walls of Dubrovnik hides one of Europe's best-preserved medieval cities. Here you can practically walk in parts of the film set of the famous series Game of Thrones, on cobblestones that have been ground down by millions of feet over the centuries.
Today, the entire old town is a car-free zone, where cozy outdoor restaurants, souvenir shops and countless ice cream parlors make life very comfortable. In the summer evenings, the old town is buzzing with life, with concerts, street theater and nightlife.
Visit the Buza Bar right outside the city walls, facing the sea. To get to this bar you have to find a small door in the wall. Spectacular access and a very special experience to sit between the wall and the sea on a late night.

Island hopping from Dubrovnik
The archipelago off Dubrovnik is one of the most beautiful you will find in the entire Mediterranean. Forested islands with evergreen pine trees, the sound of cicadas and small bathing bays with emerald green water entice.
See information about ferries between the large islands on the Jadrolinija pages. If you are going to the small islands, ask at the hotel or at the tourist information in Dubrovnik. Locals often have good tips on where to go and where to eat.
